DIY: Card Crafting

How quickly a month goes by.  Definitely faster after the baby is born, than when you're waiting for the baby to come...  Making sure I don't take any of it for granted.

Below are a few birthday cards I made and am posting for inspiration.  New idea: use an old unwanted book to cut a shape out of, color and add to your card.  It's a different twist and gives the card more detail without a lot of time or effort.

  1. What a cool idea. I like the heart-shaped one a lot!! :) How much do you sell your cards for?

    1. Thank you, Hannah! While I've always been told by people that I should, I've actually never sold my cards. These cards were given to family members for birthdays. :) If I was presented a great opportunity that guaranteed sale of my cards, I would have to price out my supplies and time and go from there.

  2. I think they were really well done!! My mom also makes cards, when she finds the time, at least, but I always like seeing different styles. :)
PLEASE let me know if you ever sell you're cards. I don't have a lot of time nowadays, so I can't make them myself. But I would be interested in yours, if you decide to sell them.
And congrats on your baby!!!! Looks like you don't have any time to spare either. :D You're son is sooooo adorable!!
